The service manager can generate a DIR report for a chiller on Salesforce. To generate the DIR report on Salesforce, it requires having a parent and child work order for the chiller.
For North America users only, the AHP platform automatically generates the DIR when a Work Order is dispatched to the technician. You can access the automatically generated DIR in the Run Activity section on the AHP platform. It is an automatic task. If you need a more up-to-date DIR, you can generate a latest DIR on Salesforce or AHP platform. For South Asia users, the automation is currently unavailable, but it is coming soon.
Parent Work Order: Represents the primary job for all chillers on-site. which gets created during Case creation process from SITE.
Child Work Orders: Represent individual tasks for each chiller, allowing for detailed tracking and management.
Prerequisites:
To generate a DIR report on Salesforce, the prerequisites are:
The work order is open and of the PM (preventive maintenance) type.
The chiller is associated with a gateway.
The service type field shows “Operating Inspection” or “Annual Maintenance "for the child work order.
The Generate DIR Report button is enabled.

Steps:
To generate the DIR report on Salesforce, follow the steps:
Log in to Salesforce by following the instances with your credentials:

2. Select the parent work order for the site of the chiller for which you want to generate a DIR.
3. On the Parent Work Order page, under the child work order section, click the child work order for which you want to generate a DIR report.

South Asia Region
4. On the child work order page, scroll down to see the “Service Flow Wizard”.
5. In the Service Flow Wizard, under the Coordinator Action section, click Generate DIR Report.
6. To check the response of the DIR report generation request, on the Details tab, scroll down to see the “Customer Alerts”, and select Customer Alerts.
7. In the Customer Alerts section, the DIR report Status field updates with a response.
It can take up to 10 minutes to generate the DIR report and update the DIR report status field.
8. If the DIR report is successfully generated, to download the generated DIR report, go to the parent work order page.
9. Scroll down to see the “File”, and then click File.
10. To refresh, click Refresh at the top-right of the Files page.
11. You get the generated DIR on the Files page.
