6C. DIR Generation-S-Max Application

Technicians can generate a DIR report for a chiller on their existing S-max application. The DIR report can only be generated for a chiller that meets the design data requirements. After logging into the S-max application, technicians can see the Work Order Dispatch in the calendar for the selected date.

Prerequisites:

To generate a DIR on the S-Max application for the chiller, it is mandatory that the Generate DIR Report button is enabled. To learn more about the conditions to enable the Generate DIR Report button and the calculation for data collection duration, click on the DIR Eligibility Logic.

Steps:

The DIR generation on the S-max application is completed in the two steps:

  1. Run configuration sync

  2. DIR report generation

  1. Run Configuration Sync

Before initiate a request for generating a DIR, it is mandatory to perform the configuration sync. This ensures that the S-max application has latest configurations. To perform the configuration sync, follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to the S-max application.

  2. In the bottom menu bar, tap More at bottom-right corner.

3. Tap Sync.

4. On the Sync page, tap Run Configuration Sync > Perform Config Sync.

5. Stay on the screen until you will not get a successful screen.

It may take a few minutes to complete downloading of the latest configuration. You need to stay on the screen until you will not get the successful screen.

6. Tap Finish.

2. DIR Report Generation

To generate the DIR report on the S-max application, follow the steps:

  1. Log in to the S-max application.

  2. In the bottom menu bar, tap Calendar.

  3. In the Calendar, select the date, and then tap on the particular Work Order Dispatch.

4. On the Appointment page, tap the parent work order number.

5. On the parent work order (Header WO) page, in the Open Service products tab, tap the child work order for which you want to generate a DIR report.

6. On the child work order (PM-serviced Product) page, click on the action icon at the bottom-right corner.

7. On the Actions page, scroll down to see “Generate DIR Report”, and then tap Generate DIR Report.

8. A prompt appears on the screen to confirm the DIR report has been generated successfully.

If the DIR report is not getting generated. You will get a notification with the responses for the DIR report unavailability. To know more, check out the DIR Report Unavailability Responses chapter in this user guide.

9. Go to the parent work order (Header WO) page and click on the Documents tab.

10. You can see the generated DIR report at the top.
